Jack Costanzo's music swings from the moment the very first note is hit. After twenty-five years, Mr. Bongo is back on the scene. Costanzo is the man who introduced and popularized the bongo in American music. From the fifties on, he shared the stage with a wide range of artists and he became a sort of Hollywood legend who was invited to make an appearance in all the big shows. He played with people like Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis Jr. and was part of the famous Stan Kenton band. He also acted in various movies (with stars like Jerry Lewis and Elvis), while creating the music for these films; Costanzo is responsible for the original theme song of Mission Impossible. After having lived in Cuba for a long time, his album Back from Havana is a fantastic comeback. This musical legend isn't wasting any time and has already released a follow-up that also shows how energetic he still is.
