24-year old pianist Jason Moran is the personal favourite of Blue Note boss Bruce Landvall and is one of the biggest trumps of the record label. Moran, who had his break-through as a member of Greg Osby's band, already played with big names like Cassandra Wilson, Steve Coleman and Stefon Harris. At this festival he will play impressive contemporary piano music, inspired on the M-Base way of playing.
