The bands performing in the Entreezaal, the stage by the main entrance, have the important task of stimulating and enthusing visitors as soon as they enter. These bands have to arouse people, stimulating their appetite for more swing, more jazz, more blues. The Rotterdam singer Rose is known for her improvisation talent to house-DJs' beats. She and DJ Roog formed a well-known duo in the club circuit, where he provided the beats and she the matching vocal notes. The debut album Trust, with Rose's single Why Are You Nervous recently came out, with parts produced by no one less than King Britt. At the festival the singer appears with a live band.
