The two jazz giants on trumpet and sax, Miles Davis and John Coltrane, both would have reached the respectable age of 75 this year, were they still alive. Pianist Herbie Hancock, sax player Michael Brecker and trumpet player Roy Hargrove will make sure this event does not pass unnoticed. Three generations of jazz talent, each influenced by these two inspirational spirits, join forces under the name Directions in Music.
