The unusual vision of the Norwegian Bugge Wesseltoft steers jazz in new directions. His concept travels the world and claims an increasing number of devotees from the jazz and dance world. More and more, the musician is seen as a pioneer. Since the early '90s Bugge Wesseltoft has transformed himself from a jazz musician on the ECM label - where he played with artists like Jan Garbarek - to the owner of his own progressive record label 'Jazzland'. In 1995 his band New Conceptions of Jazz was formed and a cd with the same name was released. Wesseltoft integrated in the Norwegian house and ambient scene and worked with various deejays. Sharing and Moving are once again a masterpiece in which Wesseltoft releases his ideas about modern jazz. Melody and groove come together with intriguing sounds from techno, triphop and jazz.
