Dennis Aalse Youth Orchestra at North Sea Jazz

Since 2010, Fundashon Bon Intenshon and Mojo Concerts have been organizing the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival. Following this collaboration, the Dennis Aalse Youth Orchestra from Curacao will perform at the NN North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam this year. This renowned youth orchestra, founded by conductor, trumpet player and music teacher Dennis Aalse, consists of more than 15 talents between 10 and 20 years old, and is an important part of the Dennis Aalse Music School. Special is the line up of the Dennis Aalse Youth Orchestra; next to the 'standard’ big band line up of horns, rhythm section and vocals, the cello, violin and flute will also be played. Characteristic is their fun and joyful repertoire, with hits such as 'Uptown Funk', 'All That Jazz'; and 'Oh when the Saints Go Marching In’. With previous performances during the celebration of International Children's Rights and at the Curaçao International Film Festival, the Dennis Aalse Youth Orchestra is an experienced youth orchestra jumping to play at the Rotterdam North Sea Jazz Festival!
